The good bits
What we liked
Quiet, simple design
The cradle is visually calm and easy to understand. It does not try to turn the sleep space into a gadget or a storage system.
Easy to move around the home
A lightweight cradle can suit families who want the baby close during the early months and need to move the sleep space between rooms.
A defined early-stage job
The product is honest about being a short-stage cradle. That can be a virtue when the family wants a simple first sleep space and understands the handover.
The trade-offs
What we didn’t like
£300 is a lot for six months
The value depends on how much the family values the early-stage convenience and whether the cradle can be used by another baby or passed on later.
The stop point arrives quickly
Babies develop at different rates. The six-month headline is not a promise that every baby will use it for that long; follow the current limits and stop earlier if instructed.
Safe sleep still comes first
The cradle is not a reason to add pillows, loose bedding, toys or unapproved mattresses. Follow current safer-sleep advice and the exact manufacturer instructions.
Method
How we tested it
We considered assembly, movement around the home, visibility, cleaning, mattress and bedding routines, storage and the short use window. Use the supplied or approved mattress, keep the sleep space clear and follow current NHS, Lullaby Trust and manufacturer safer-sleep guidance.
Testing methodology: Our testing method looks at the parts of family life that the box rarely shows: setup, daily handling, cleaning, storage, repeat use and the cost of keeping the product going. For safety-sensitive products, follow the current manufacturer instructions and relevant safer-sleep or travel guidance.
